About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Regional Head South - Government Sales to lead our sales efforts in the Southern region of India.
- In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying and closing significant cloud and data center services opportunities within the government sector.
- You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and expanding our market share in this dynamic and strategic market.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Government sector across all levels (Central, State, and Local).
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate target accounts and achieve sales targets.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify key trends and opportunities.
Sales Management:
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within government organizations.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals (if applicable).
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with government clients.
- Understand and address customer needs and challenges effectively.
- Proactively identify and resolve customer issues.
