Job Description

Position: Education Counsellor (B2B and B2C)

Location: Dadar, Ghatkopar, Vile Parle & Borivali.

Reports to: Business Head

Role Overview: The Education Counsellor serves as a trusted academic advisor to students and parents, helping them make informed decisions about NEET, JEE, and MHT-CET coaching programs overed by Kalrashukla. The counsellor plays a key role in building trust, addressing academic concerns, and guiding families through the enrolment process by clearly communicating the long-term value of Kalrashukla's pedagogy and track record.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel walk-in and online inquiries (students and parents) about academic planning and competitive exam preparation.

Understand the student's background, academic needs, learning challenges, and goals to recommend the right course pathway.

Clearly explain Kalrashukla's teaching methodology, schedule structure, mock test systems, and success results.

Conduct structured one-on-one counselling sessions to address doubts about curriculum, timelines, and exam strategies.

Follow up with interested prospects via phone/email/WhatsApp and ensure they feel confident in their enrolment decision.

Act as the parent's academic point of contact post-enrolment, ensuring trust and ongoing relationship.

Collaborate with faculty, operations, and marketing teams to ensure smooth onboarding of students.

Maintain accurate documentation of interactions and status of each inquiry in the CRM system.

During off Season visit to Schools and 10th Std Couching institute Tie-ups for Brand awareness and marketing. (B2B).

Educational Qualifications (Mandatory):

Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed.), Science (B.Sc.).

Candidates with M.Ed., MSc, or academic counselling diplomas are preferred.

Experience:

0-3 years in student counselling, academic advising, or admissions counselling.

Experience in educational institutions or coaching centres (NEET, JEE, CET) is a strong plus. Skills & Attributes:

Deep understanding of NEET, JEE, MHT-CET exam formats, timelines, and academic demands.

Empathetic and professional in handling parent concerns and student anxieties.

Confident communicator in English, Hindi, and Marathi

Ability to translate technical academic details into simple, reassuring advice.

Proficiency in using CRM tools or Excel for managing follow-ups.

A calm, structured, and solutions-oriented mindset.

B2B and B2C experience is plus.
