Documents core data governance framework deliverables - operating model, organization roles & responsibilities, policies, standards, use cases, and performance metrics . Documents client organization's direction, structure, business processes and requirements as they relate to creation and maintenance of data. . Analyzes business objectives to understand the governance needs and to determine how data governance can best function to fulfill those needs. . Identifies cross impact to other systems/initiatives/capabilities. . Proposes solutions to problems and considers timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing client needs. . Understands data governance framework and can clearly articulate roles, goals, and timelines. . Work closely with client stakeholders to understand data challenges, objectives and provide guidance and training on the data governance framework. . Creates, consolidates, and presents documents relating to use cases, policies, processes, standards, and guidelines, maintaining them throughout the project, including traceability back to requirements. . Provides a business or process perspective during design reviews. . Participates in change control process throughout the project. . Proactively carries out project support /administrative functions. . Proficient in Microsoft Office suite . Ability to travel according to client demands Minimum Skills Required: Basic Qualifications: . 8+ years of experience defining and implementing Data Governance Programs . 6+ years of experience working with Data Governance Tools and Platforms (Mainly Microsoft Purview) . 7+ years of experience managing small projects including status reporting, risk & issue management, resource and budget management . 3+ years of experience working with MDM tools . 2+ years engagement management experience . Bachelor's degree in business or related field Preferences: . Consulting experience highly preferred .
