Job Description Data Governance Consultant 6-Month Onsite Contract (Telecom) We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Consultant to lead and enhance our data governance framework with a strong focus on Collibra administration and integrations. The consultant will manage Collibra operations, workflows, metadata models, and integrations with enterprise systems, ensuring data quality, compliance, and seamless connectivity across the organization. Role Description (Location Oman) Key Responsibilities: - Implement and manage the Collibra Data Governance Platform (workflows, domains, data models, policies). - Oversee daily Collibra operations, performance, upgrades, and issue resolution. - Lead integrations between Collibra and enterprise systems (ETL, DWH, APIs). - Ensure metadata ingestion, data lineage, and data quality checkpoints. - Support and train data owners, stewards, and SMEs on governance processes. - Implement governance standards and frameworks (DAMA / DCAM). - Support audits, compliance, and platform adoption across teams. Qualifications - Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field. - Hands-on Collibra administration experience (mandatory). - Strong knowledge of metadata management, APIs, SQL, ETL pipelines. - Experience troubleshooting integrations and translating business needs. - Strong communication and stakeholder management. Preferred Experience: - 68 years in data governance implementations. - Enterprise-level Collibra deployment experience. - Telecom/DWH/BI background. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP). - Collibra Certifications (Ranger/Professional) preferred.
