We are currently seeking a Data Governance SME to join our team in Remote, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

• Documents core data governance framework deliverables - operating model, organization roles & responsibilities, policies, standards, use cases, and performance metrics
• Documents client organization's direction, structure, business processes and requirements as they relate to creation and maintenance of data.
• Analyzes business objectives to understand the governance needs and to determine how data governance can best function to fulfill those needs.
• Identifies cross impact to other systems/initiatives/capabilities.
• Proposes solutions to problems and considers timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing client needs.
• Understands data governance framework and can clearly articulate roles, goals, and timelines.
• Work closely with client stakeholders to understand data challenges, objectives and provide guidance and training on the data governance framework.
• Creates, consolidates, and presents documents relating to use cases, policies, processes, standards, and guidelines, maintaining them throughout the project, including traceability back to requirements.
• Provides a business or process perspective during design reviews.
• Participates in change control process throughout the project.
• Proactively carries out project support /administrative functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to travel according to client demands Minimum Skills Required: Basic Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience defining and implementing Data Governance Programs
• 6+ years of experience working with Data Governance Tools and Platforms (Mainly Microsoft Purview)
• 7+ years of experience managing small projects including status reporting, risk & issue management, resource and budget management
• 3+ years of experience working with MDM tools
• 2+ years engagement management experience
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field Preferences:
• Consulting experience highly preferred
• Industry specific consulting experience (FSI, Manufacturing, Healthcare)
