Director-hedge Accounting Solutions

The Director-Hedge Accounting Solutions is ideal for someone with strong hedge accounting expertise under IAS 39 and IFRS 9 experience leading control functions and the ability to build out compliant commercially viable hedge strategies across risk types - particularly within Treasury and IRRBB Oversee and manage hedge accounting processes ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations Develop and implement strategies to optimize hedge accounting practices and reporting efficiency Provide expert guidance and support on hedge accounting matters to internal and external stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align hedge accounting solutions with broader financial objectives Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to ensure the business services remain competitive and compliant Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement Drive innovation and process improvements within the hedge accounting function It s a high-visibility role for someone with hedge accounting expertise Looking for someone with 10-15 years expertise in hedge accounting A successful Director-Hedge Accounting Solutions should have A strong educational background in accounting finance or a related field Proficiency in hedge accounting principles and relevant regulatory frameworks Experience in managing complex accounting projects within the business services industry Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address financial challenges effectively Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing and mentoring teams Exceptional communication skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment The employer is a well-established and large organization in the banking industry known for its commitment to delivering top-notch solutions in accounting and finance The company operates across multiple markets providing robust support to its global clientele This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role in hedge accounting solutions Interested candidates are encouraged to apply and take the next step in their career journey
