Job Responsibilities Performance Testing Design develop and execute performance test plans and scripts to simulate real-world scenarios Conduct various types of performance tests including load stress endurance and scalability tests Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions Performance Engineering Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application performance Use profiling and monitoring tools to measure application performance in production environments Provide recommendations for improving application performance scalability and stability Collaboration and Reporting Work closely with development teams to identify performance-related issues early in the development lifecycle Communicate performance test results issues and risks to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Lead performance testing efforts in Agile environments and ensure alignment with project goals Continuous Improvement Stay updated with industry trends tools and best practices in performance testing and engineering Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in performance testing techniques and tools Propose and implement improvements in performance testing processes and methodologies Required Skills Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter LoadRunner or Gatling Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies including load stress scalability and endurance testing Experience in scripting and automating performance tests Knowledge of profiling and monitoring tools e g Dynatrace New Relic or AppDynamics Familiarity with cloud platforms e g AWS Azure and cloud-based performance testing Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization Strong analytical skills to analyze performance test
