Job Description QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our web, mobile, and API applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Selenium, JMeter, SQL and be able to contribute to test strategy, execution, and automation framework development.

Role & responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
  • Implement and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium or related tools.
  • Conduct performance testing using JMeter and report system bottlenecks.
  • Validate and test databases (SQL queries) to ensure data integrity and backend accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Track, report, and manage bugs using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
  • Stay updated with emerging QA trends, tools, and technologies to enhance testing efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Manual Testing methodologies.
  • Experience in Automation Testing with Selenium.
  • Hands-on experience in Web, Mobile, and API testing.
  • Knowledge of Performance Testing (JMeter).
  • Proficiency in Database Testing (SQL).
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
