Job Description Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION: 1 DIVISION: Chemical POSITION TITLE: Territory Sales Manager LOCATION: Angul Orissa REPORTING TO: Business Manager NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 1 PREFERRED INDUSTRY: Water Treatment Chemicals Chemical Business Thermax's Chemicals business manufactures and markets a wide range of specialty chemicals to help improve processes and product performance for a spectrum of industries. The business is India`s leading manufacturer and exporter of ion exchange resins and is a pioneer in chemicals for water and wastewater treatment. It also supplies chemicals for Construction, paper and pulp and for oil field operations. The Chemical business offers synergy to the entire spectrum of Thermax's energy and environment businesses. Thermax Chemical portfolio is backed by over four decades of R&D experience, and in-depth knowledge of customer requirements. The business has built a client base in the USA,Europe Japan, Korea, Russia, South East Asia and the Middle East. Role & Responsibilities - This is a customer interfacing role. - Sales and Marketing of water treatment chemicals like cooling water, boiler water, RO & polyelectrolytes. - Build and manage relationship with everyone involved in projects. - Able to handle pre and post sales technical queries successfully. - Forecasting growth opportunities from new potential markets - Effective creation of sales plan and implementation in alignment with business objectives - Attending sales meetings & negotiations with customers. - Understand client requirements, coordinate with various operating groups and develop a competitive proposal. - Track & report sales and marketing activities on a decided periodic basis. - Analysis of Orders won and lost and implement learning and follow best practices. - Engage in techno - commercial discussions with clients, consultants. JOB SPECIFICATIONS - Essential Qualification: B Tech/ BE Chemical or M Sc. Chemistry - Desirable Qualification/Skills: - Experience: water treatment chemicals at Refinery/ Petrochemical/ Fertilizer /Power plant / Process industry - Products to be handled : CWC, BWC, Polyelectrolyte & ROC (Cooling water chemical, Boiler water chemical, RO chemicals) Experience/ Exposure - Candidate having experience in Water Treatment Chemicals - Should have experience in handling mid and large accounts in industries like Power/Pharma/ Refineries / Food & Beverages
