Job SummaryA Telesales Executive is responsible for generating sales and revenue for a company by making outbound or inbound calls to potential customers. This role involves identifying prospects, explaining products or services, answering queries, and persuading customers to make a purchase or set appointments for further discussions.The Telesales Executive plays a crucial role in the sales cycle, often acting as the first point of contact between the company and the customer. Success in this role requires excellent communication, product knowledge, persuasive abilities, and the resilience to handle rejection while meeting sales targets.Key Responsibilities Lead Generation and Prospecting Identify potential customers through company-provided leads, market research, or databases. Cold call prospects to introduce products or services. Maintain and update the lead database with accurate customer information. Customer Communication Make outbound sales calls and follow up on inquiries from inbound calls. Clearly explain the product features, benefits, and pricing. Build rapport with customers to encourage trust and interest. Sales Conversion Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions. Use persuasive selling techniques to close sales over the phone. Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Data Management and Reporting Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, and outcomes in CRM systems. Generate and submit daily or weekly sales reports to supervisors. Track individual performance against set targets. Collaboration and Teamwork Coordinate with the sales and marketing team for campaigns and promotions. Share customer feedback and market insights to help improve offerings.
