About Our Client Our client is a leading, fully integrated carbon black and specialty carbon company in India. They operate large-scale facilities across multiple states, including Karnataka, and are pioneering the advanced battery materials industry for the global lithium-ion market. They are committed to driving innovation in sustainable development and are looking for a key leader for their corporate function. Job Description - Develop and implement a comprehensive Liaisoning strategy aligned with corporate goals and regulatory needs. - Serve as the senior point of contact for all government and statutory authorities. - Oversee the acquisition and timely renewal of all statutory clearances (CTE/CTO, fire NOCs, hazardous waste). - Ensure zero non-compliance through timely internal audits and preparation for external inspections. - Build and maintain strong relationships with local government, municipal bodies, and community leaders. - Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate regulatory documentation. - Monitor changes in relevant laws, assess impact on operations, and advise senior management. - Lead initiatives to engage with local communities and address grievances, promoting CSR and goodwill. The Successful Applicant - 12-15 years of experience in PR, communications, or a related field; 3+ years in a leadership role. - Mandatory experience working with a minimum of three of the following departments: - Fire Department - Labour Department - Factory Inspector - Pollution Control Board - KUM (Karnataka Udyog Mitra) - Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Administration, Environmental Science, Communications, or a related field. - Proven expertise in regulatory knowledge, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management. - Strong ability to develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns. - Located in or willing to relocate to Bangalore (Head of Department role).
