A restaurant captain oversees daily dining room operations to ensure high service standards and guest satisfaction by supervising staff managing service coordinating with the kitchen and addressing guest concerns Key responsibilities include leading service teams ensuring cleanliness and safety managing orders handling cash and billing and contributing to staff training and development Key Responsibilities Guest Service Relations Greet guests assist with seating and menu selections resolve complaints and ensure overall guest satisfaction Staff Supervision Training Lead and train front-of-house staff conduct pre-shift briefings assign tasks and ensure adherence to service standards Operational Management Oversee daily operations coordinate with the kitchen to manage orders and product availability and ensure smooth table turnover Service Presentation Ensure correct table settings handle food and beverage service with enthusiasm and maintain high-quality standards Cleanliness Safety Monitor and maintain cleanliness in the dining area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Financial Management Manage cash handling and billing accuracy assisting with revenue and expense tracking Inventory Management Monitor and manage inventory of food beverages and other supplies Essential Skills Attributes Leadership Ability to lead motivate and organize a team Customer Service Excellent communication interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach Attention to Detail Crucial for managing service quality settings and guest needs Problem-Solving Capacity to address and resolve customer concerns and operational issues promptly and tactfully Menu Beverage Knowledge In-depth understanding of the menu to answer questions and make recommendations Professionalism Maintaining a calm and professional demeanor especially in high-pressure situations Organizational Skills Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate various aspects of the dining experience Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 18 000 00 - 22 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
