Associate Procurement Specialist

Job Overview Supply Chain Analyst will be a key member of the Global SCM team working as an Individual contributor playing a vital role in driving centralized analytics intelligence initiatives based out of Gurgaon The primary intent of this role will be to provide pricing and market intelligence analytics support to global projects which are in FEED Proposal Execution phases with primary support to our Global Category Management organization This role will be in alignment with the organization s vision to develop the value driven SCM solutions to support our projects further driving overall value within the entire supply chain Responsibilities Key Tasks and Responsibilities The individual will work to enhance market intelligence and price benchmarking intelligence capabilities that will in turn support the development of pre-contract SCM strategies Continuously maintain and enhance our price analytics database and intelligence platform dashboarding - Engineered Equipment and Bulk Material Support project bid teams to support proposals and FEED s from a price benchmarking and market intelligence perspective Develop data aggregation process for reporting and dashboarding Market analysis of raw material commodities and steel-based products Identify analyze and interpret market intelligence data results or data trends using statistical techniques Responsible for preparing market intelligence reports and maintain dashboards to accurately monitor forecast pricing for raw material commodities and steel products Conduct routine surveys to gather data from vendors suppliers and process data for reporting Routinely examine vendor data analyze metrics to identify new capabilities KPI and operational performance Individual will be responsible to develop and maintain Global SCM category management related metrics and reports Extracting and maintaining global procurement reports for projects across regions for SCM Area management Continuous process improvement to enhance and further develop data analysis management for price benchmarking capabilities Work with team for process development and documentation Perform related duties as required including interaction with various discipline across all business lines Qualifications Essential Qualifications and Education Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication verbal written and coordination skills exhibited in the past within a multi-stakeholder environment ideally experience managing relationships with international offices Engineering degree is highly desired with 2-7 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry having exposure to various Engineering Documents and involved in various Engineering deliverables Proficient in advanced MS Excel MS Forms and advanced PowerPoint skills Macros skills would be added advantage Experience in database query or programming languages e g SQL and data visualization using Power BI Tableau or similar dashboarding application preferred LI-PM1About Us Our ingenuity fuels daily life Together we ve forged some of the most trusted partnerships across the energy value chain to make what was once just an idea a reality laying subsea infrastructure thousands of feet below sea level installing platforms hundreds of miles from shore using our expertise to design and build offshore wind infrastructure and reshaping the onshore landscape to deliver the energy products the world needs safely and sustainably For more than 100 years we ve been making the impossible possible Today we re driving the energy transition with more than 30 000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries
