Trade Promotion Officer

Job Summary - We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trade Promotion Officer to join our Trade Services team The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting trade-related services and facilitating international and domestic trade opportunities across industries - This role involves organizing trade missions handling trade inquiries promoting participation in international exhibitions and providing critical trade intelligence to stakeholders - Key Responsibilities 1 Trade Missions- Plan coordinate and execute inbound and outbound trade missions - Identify target markets facilitate B2B meetings and foster cross-border business partnerships - Liaise with relevant trade associations chambers and industry bodies to curate trade delegations 2 Trade Enquiries- Manage and respond to trade-related queries from businesses - Provide members with access to credible business leads and international contacts - Assist in matchmaking with potential overseas partners 3 Relationship Building- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies embassies trade bodies and industry associations - Develop strategies to strengthen trade ties and promote business engagement in key regions 4 Market Information Reporting- Maintain strong knowledge of Indian industry sectors and macroeconomic trends - Prepare trade insights briefing notes and analytical reports for internal use and senior management - Support in the promotion of trade fairs exhibitions and industry events Qualifications and Skills - Bachelor s degree in International Business Economics Trade or a related field - 3-5 years of experience in trade promotion international business development or related domains - Excellent organizational planning and project management abilities - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency in MS Office Excel Word PowerPoint - Ability to work independently multitask and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Desirable Traits - Proven track record in executing trade promotion initiatives or trade facilitation projects - Strong networking skills and experience in stakeholder engagement - Comfortable with domestic travel as needed - Prior experience coordinating with embassies export promotion councils or government trade departments is a plus ref updazz com
