Company Profile Simplotel is a Bangalore-based Software-as-a-Service SaaS company helping over 2 500 hotels across 26 countries grow their direct business We are power e-commerce for some of the largest hotels in India The name Simplotel comes from a combination of Simple and Hotel - our mission is to simplify the life of hoteliers through technology Simplotel is a Shopify for Hotels was founded in October 2013 and is funded by Go-MMT - India s largest Online Travel Agency -Simplotel was awarded the best startup in travel hospitality for 2021 by Startup India an initiative of the Union Ministry of Commerce Industry in India Overview We are looking for a Creative Curator who is a master visual storyteller This role involves curating content and design elements to craft aesthetically pleasing and engaging websites that bring out the client s story An ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both visual arts and storytelling with the ability to interpret client needs and bring the unique story of each hotel to life through our website Key Responsibilities - Engage with our clients to understand their vision for the hotel Develop and present innovative concepts tailored to their needs - Collaborate with internal content and design teams and curate visual content that aligns with the client s brand and story - Ensure that all visual elements work together to enhance the user experience and drive bookings - Oversee the content and design that goes on the website ensuring it is engaging accurate and aligns with the client s expectations and organizational standards - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in visual storytelling web design and user experience - Review and approve design elements and content providing constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables - Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery Qualifications - Bachelor s degree in Fine Arts Visual Arts Graphic Design or a related field 3-6 years of experience as an Art Curator Creative Curator Visual Storyteller or similar role - Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in visual storytelling - Excellent understanding of visual design principles and storytelling techniques - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects - Detail-oriented and highly organized - Knowledge of user experience UX and user interface UI design principles is a plus - Experience in content creation and editing is preferred ref updazz com
