Job Description Position Overview Job Title: Technology Lead Payment Initiation Platforms Location: Pune, India Corporate Title: Director Role Description Technology Management Lead is responsible for improving the technological aspects of operations to reduce infrastructure costs, improve functional performance and help deliver Divisional business goals. Work includes the following. - Partnering with key internal stakeholders to translate bank strategy into objectives and plans for implementation while supporting the delivery of world class technology solutions - Planning and managing platform operations including production support, systems and database administration, network operations, and client service - Ensuring systems performance and service level requirements are met through appropriate capacity management practices - Managing and maintaining strategic relationships with key IT product and services providers - Transferring business requirements into technical solutions - Providing in-depth technical expertise for both tactical and operational initiatives including oversight of Software Development Lifecycle including Release Management practices - Proactively managing and remediating the risk Team Overview Payment Channels Technology: We are responsible for delivering client facing solutions that act as channels allowing Payment Initiation for our corporate and institutional clients across the world. Corporate Bank Technology has embarked on a multi-year technology refresh program that includes revitalization of Channel applications for payment initiation. As a technology lead you will be working on driving the engineering including enhancements of global payment initiation platforms. Some of the platforms have React based micro frontends backed by Java powered micro-services deployed in a containerized environment hosted in cloud. Some of the other platforms are hosted on-prem and rely on Kafka and datastores such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, HBase, MongoDB amongst other open-source software. You'll collaborate with other Product Owners, Designers, Senior Engineers, Lead Engineers and Analysts on the platform using agile practices to incrementally add functionality to the platform and with a sharp focus on automation. You will partner with business and technology managers to define modules and enhancements to the application stack that provides Deutsche Bank's institutional clients ability to initiate payments in real time and access to their account balances & statements in near real time.
