Job Description Director of Technology | Cloud | .NET | Microservices | Azure / AWS Are you passionate about building scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications and leading high-performing tech teams We're looking for a Director of Technology who can drive architecture excellence, lead modernization initiatives, and help us design the next generation of intelligent digital platforms. What You'll Do - Lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, high-performance applications using .NET Core, Microservices, and Azure/AWS. - Define technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap across backend, frontend, and data layers. - Mentor and guide engineering teams ensure best practices in cloud-native design, DevOps, and coding standards. - Champion cloud transformation and modernization of legacy systems to microservices and serverless architectures. - Oversee application reliability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization. - Drive API-first design, security assessments, and continuous improvement of platforms. - Stay ahead of emerging technologies like AI/ML, Edge Computing, and Low-Code platforms and bring innovative ideas to life. What You Bring - 16+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years in an architectural or technology leadership role. - Hands-on expertise in .NET Core, C#, Web API, ASP.NET MVC, and Microservices Architecture. - Strong knowledge of Azure (Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, DevOps) or AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation). - Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architecture. - Deep database expertise: SQL Server, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or NoSQL. - Solid understanding of API design, OAuth, OpenID, JWT, and integration patterns. - Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation. - Bonus: Exposure to Angular, React, Blazor, or event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis).
