The Opportunity "As Principal Product Manager of Customer Experience, you will lead the development and execution of product roadmaps for FICO's horizontal platform capabilities. The ideal candidate will blend deep industry knowledge with a strong grasp of analytics platforms, domain policies and regulatory frameworks to deliver innovative, compliant, and scalable platform offerings." - VP, Platform Product Management What You'll Contribute - Own the Platform Product Management function for FICO's horizontal SaaS platform capabilities, driving innovation technology aligned with business goals and market trends. - Define the product strategy and own the roadmap for everything a user needs to create, manage, and collaborate on digital assets. - Write detailed requirements and meaningful, value-based initiatives/epics with clear acceptance criteria. - Partner with engineering to ensure timely delivery of features and improvements. - Manage trade-offs between speed, cost, and quality. - Asset Lifecycle Management: Define the requirements for how users' author, version, and manage the complete lifecycle of assets, ensuring a seamless experience from creation to archive. - Collaboration & Development: Drive the product roadmap for collaboration tools, including branching models and repository management, to enable efficient teamwork among diverse users. - Quality & Validation: Establish the requirements for testing, validation, and simulation capabilities to ensure assets are reliable and meet quality standards before deployment. - Interoperability: Own the requirements for import and export functionality, ensuring assets can be easily moved between different systems and platforms. - Business & User Experience: Bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business needs by defining user experience (UX) and business term requirements that make complex tools intuitive for users. - Monitor the competitive landscape and customer needs to continuously refine and differentiate FICO's platform offerings. - Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, product design, architecture, sales, marketing, legal, privacy & security, trust, and compliance teams to deliver solutions meeting industry standards and customer expectations. - Lead, mentor, and grow a high-impact platform product management team fostering innovation and customer obsession. - Drive continuous improvement of product planning processes, leveraging data and customer insights for transparency and strategic alignment. - This role requires a deep understanding of the needs of a wide range of users, including Data Scientists, Business Analysts, Developers, and Business Users. You'll be the voice of these users, translating their needs into technical requirements and product features that empower them to be more productive. What We're Seeking - 10+ years customer-facing product management or platform product management experience with a platform that builds applications. - Proven track record of defining and launching complex products that have significantly improved the customer experience for technical and non-technical users. - Demonstrated successful leadership experience mentoring and growing product management team members. - Experience with user interface design including a deep understanding of user-centric design principles and the ability to translate user research, feedback, and data into a compelling product vision. - Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage in detailed conversations with engineering, product design, and data teams about system architecture, APIs, and product implementation. - Exceptional and highly effective written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and manage a diverse set of stakeholders including customers, executives, and technical users. - Success in driving SaaS platform incubation (zero to one product management mindset). - Ability to translate market trends, regulatory changes, and technology advances into actionable product plans. - Experience effectively collaborating in matrixed, global organizations with cross-functional teams and external partners. - Experience developing platform product strategies for regulated industries and Knowledge of financial services regulations, compliance, and risk frameworks is desirable. - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or relevant experience; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
