Clenergize is one of the fastest-growing Energy & Sustainability Consulting Firms in the Middle East. We are looking for an Experienced Solar Engineer to join our expanding team. The person will be responsible for feasibility studies, technical due diligence, project management documentation, and tender support for solar and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects across the GCC and beyond. This is a remote position open to candidates based in India. RESPONSIBILITIES The candidate will be required to: - Conduct feasibility assessments for solar PV and hybrid solar-BESS projects, including yield estimation, sizing, and financial modeling. - Prepare concept designs, system layouts, and technical reports using tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, SketchUp, and Helioscope. - Develop and review RFP (Request for Proposal) packages for EPC or turnkey contractor selection. - Support bid evaluation by analyzing technical and commercial submissions from bidders. - Review EPC offers, design submissions, and vendor datasheets for compliance and optimization. - Coordinate internally with electrical, civil, and ESG teams for integrated project deliverables. - Prepare and maintain project management trackers, schedules, and progress dashboards. - Support owners-engineer and consulting engagements through design reviews, meeting notes, and reporting. - Assist with energy yield validation, grid interconnection studies, and compliance with IEC, DEWA, SEC, or local utility codes. - Analyze BESS sizing, control philosophy, and integration with solar and genset systems. - Contribute to proposal writing and presentations for client submissions. - Maintain awareness of emerging technologies in solar PV, hybrid systems, and energy storage. QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Renewable, or Energy Engineering. - 5+ years of experience in solar PV and/or hybrid (solar + BESS) projects. - Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, PVSyst, SketchUp, and MS Office tools (especially Excel). - Experience in technical documentation, EPC tendering, and feasibility analysis. - Understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of EPC and O&M engagements. - Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and manage deliverables remotely. PREFERRED SKILLS - Working knowledge of financial modeling, LCOE analysis, and project costing. - Familiarity with BESS control logic, sizing, and operation modes (peak shaving, shifting, backup, etc.) - Understanding of grid integration, interconnection studies, and regulatory codes. - Experience in utility-scale, C&I rooftop, and hybrid off-grid systems. - Prior experience in consultancy, EPC, or owner’s engineer roles will be an advantage.
