About the job Jr Sr Business Analyst As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for collecting analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to extract valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements design data models and generate reports that contribute to organizational growth and success Main tasks responsibilities Data Collection and Preparation Gather and collect data from various sources ensuring data integrity and accuracy Cleanse transform and format data to ensure consistency and usability Develop data acquisition and data quality assurance processes Data Analysis and Interpretation Apply statistical analysis techniques to explore and interpret large datasets Identify trends patterns and correlations in data to uncover insights and opportunities Perform advanced analytics such as predictive modeling and segmentation to support business goals Data Visualization and Reporting Create visually appealing and informative reports dashboards and presentations Communicate complex data findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders Develop interactive data visualizations to facilitate data exploration and understanding Business Intelligence and Decision Support Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making Monitor key performance indicators KPIs and provide insights to drive operational improvements Data Governance and Compliance Ensure data privacy security and compliance with relevant regulations Establish data governance frameworks and best practices Maintain documentation of data processes and procedures Able to travel to project sites if required for data collection and management Requirements For Junior Business Analyst 4-5 years of experience as Project Data or Business Analyst For Senior Business Analyst 8-10 years of experience as Project Data or Business Analyst Masters degree in Mathematics Statistics Analytics Computer Science or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python R SQL or similar programming languages Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI Excel or similar platforms Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and predictive modeling Knowledge of data cleansing transformation and preparation techniques specific to forestry agriculture or horticulture data Ability to interpret and communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in the context of forestry agriculture or horticulture domains Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders from various departments Experience with data governance data quality and data management principles is desirable Familiarity with machine learning concepts and algorithms is a plus Familiarity with local language Khasi Garo is preferred not mandatory
