Requirements

Job Responsibilities

Time Standards & Work Content Estimation

- Establish time standards using Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (Basic MOST) for current products
- Estimate work content for new product development using Virtual MOST and Stopwatch Study
- Implement MOST and validate its elements with on-ground workforce

Capacity Planning & Augmentation

- Perform capacity calculations for washing machines, test beds, and PTCED lines
- Determine required shifts, workstations, and manpower
- Plan capacity for new models using existing assembly setups and manage model migrations
- Enhance capacity through de-bottlenecking, layout changes, and method improvements
- Oversee resource, equipment, and facility planning

Line Balancing & Efficiency

- Implement line balancing strategies for multi-model mix assembly lines
- Manage balancing in machine shops involving multi-machine and multi-manning operations
- Drive projects focused on improving line organization efficiency

Manpower Planning

- Estimate monthly direct and indirect manpower requirements
- Prepare and regularly update job contracts for functions like packaging, unloading, framing, maintenance, and canteen operations

Productivity Improvement Initiatives

- Reduce cycle time of bottleneck operations through lean methodologies
- Use tools like AviX for identifying and minimizing non-value-adding activities via Kaizen and method improvement
- Apply ECRS (Eliminate, Combine, Reduce, Simplify) techniques for process optimization
- Lead Low-Cost Automation (LCA) projects to enhance productivity
- Coordinate with unions to implement set-ups based on customer demands
