Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned and detail-oriented Finance Associate with 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and compliance. The role is integral to supporting the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving efficiency across processes. The Finance Associate will work closely with finance leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights that aid in strategic decision-making and business growth. Key Responsibilities

- Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports.
- Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to management for strategic decisions.
- Assist in consolidating reports across business units and ensure accuracy of financial data.

- Budgeting & Forecasting

- Support in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts aligned with business goals.
- Track budget utilization and provide regular updates on deviations and corrective actions.
- Work with departmental teams to optimize cost control and improve financial efficiency.

- Compliance & Audit Support

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, taxation laws, and accounting standards.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing required documentation and addressing queries.
- Maintain accurate records for regulatory filings and financial audits.

- Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Oversee timely vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and client invoicing.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients for collections.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Process Improvement & Controls

- Implement internal controls to strengthen financial processes and mitigate risks.
- Identify gaps in workflows and recommend process automation or optimization.
- Contribute to the design and adoption of financial systems/tools for improved reporting.

- Stakeholder Management

- Partner with business units to provide financial guidance and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Support leadership in investment evaluations, cost-benefit analyses, and other strategic initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CA/CPA/MBA preferred).
- Minimum 6+ years of proven experience in finance, accounting, or related functions.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite), and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to see the bigger picture.
