An Electrical Head in an integrated steel plant s power plant is responsible for overseeing all electrical aspects of the plant s operations including maintenance operations and projects This role requires a strong understanding of power systems electrical equipment and safety protocols within a heavy industrial setting The Electrical Head manages a team of engineers and technicians ensuring efficient and safe power distribution and maintenance of all electrical systems Key Responsibilities Power Plant Management Ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of the power plant s electrical systems including substations distribution networks motors transformers and control systems Maintenance and Troubleshooting Developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules as well as troubleshooting high-voltage systems control panels and automation equipment Safety and Compliance Ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations during all electrical operations and maintenance activities Team Leadership Leading and mentoring a team of electrical engineers and technicians fostering a positive and productive work environment Project Management Participating in the planning execution and commissioning of electrical projects within the power plant Budget Management Contributing to the development and management of the electrical department s budget Energy Management Ensuring efficient energy utilization within the power plant and contributing to overall energy conservation efforts Relationship Building Fostering strong relationships with other departments within the integrated steel plant to ensure seamless coordination and support Continuous Improvement Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency reliability and safety of the power plant s electrical systems Required Skills and Experience Technical Expertise Deep knowledge of power systems electrical equipment control systems and automation in an industrial setting Leadership and Management Proven ability to lead manage and motivate a team of technical professionals Problem-Solving Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues Project Management Experience in managing and executing electrical projects including planning budgeting and execution Safety Awareness Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices in electrical operations Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members other departments and management Experience Typically requires 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance and operations within a heavy industrial environment preferably in the steel industry JOB APPLY http jobs vinayakjob com CONTACT DETAILS - Name - SHASHI Number - 93026 42415 Mail id - vinayakjob com Visit - Vinayak job consultant Mohoba bazar hotal radhika palace 3rd floor beside Ashoka biryani and RK Mall
