
Assistant Manager

Primarily responsible to Identify, develop and implement loss prevention program elements required to meet the security needs of the Organization. This position requires a proactive customer focused individual with an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels.
JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Business in evaluating current and future business processes and initiatives relating to loss prevention in the Organization.
- Share inputs and risks with business and field teams for mitigation and resolution.
- Asset Protection People, Facilities and Equipments.
- Operation of the Truck/Air Security Program with guidelines set by regulatory bodies.
- Develop processes and systems for product safety & security during storage and transportation and ensure compliance as per regulatory requirements applicable.
- Monitor and drive all investigations of all suspect transactions and activities that have or are likely to adversely impact business.
- Oversee training and professional development of field security teams.
- Determine strategy for highly sensitive and/or high-profile investigations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Central, state, and local law enforcement agencies to support investigations.
- Investigation on theft, pilferage, damages, and exceptions /red-flagged transactions including fraud attempts.
- Ensure reporting of exceptions to Business on process violations as per agreed SLA. Audit of security compliance across operational centre, Hubs and OGP locations.
- Liaise and cooperate with law enforcement and industry bodies to support companys interests.
- Liaise and cooperate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to effectively resolve exposures and mitigate risks.
- Conduct new hire orientation and training.
- Installation and maintenance of security equipments (CCTV, Access Controls, X-Ray etc.).
- Guard Management
- Ensuring security certifications (Example: TAPA) to meet Customer expectations.
- Emergency response and support BCP.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Indepth knowledge of Security systems including digital tools.
- Good interpersonal skills, including both verbal and written communication skills
- Good listening skills and the ability to anticipate business needs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Relevant Experience:
- Overall 5-6 years of relevant experience in similar capacity in logistics industry
