Job Category Senior Analyst Human Capital Management Analytics At Goldman Sachs we believe who you are makes you better at what you do We seek out people with all types of skills interests and experiences For us it s all about bringing together people who are curious collaborative and have the drive to make things possible for our clients and communities Human Capital Management HCM plays a critical role in managing the firm s most important asset its people As the firm s business principles state the quality and performance of our people is what sets us apart in an intensely competitive market HCM Analytics is responsible for a broad range of activities including collecting analysing and interpreting HR data to provide insights that improve workforce planning employee engagement talent management and overall HR strategies Are you looking for a new opportunity to showcase your client relationship and analytical skills Do you have a strategic mind-set and the ability to build relationships Do you enjoy a fast-paced environment with the ability to influence and enable change If so learn more about our Work Placement position in HCM and apply now Responsibilities The tasks will include amongst others Manage large datasets from various HR systems ensuring data integrity and accuracy Develop and maintain HR dashboards reports and visualizations that provide insights into key HR metrics e g turnover headcount employee engagement performance metrics using Power BI Build maintain existing infrastructure of Anaplan Models related to HR processes Work closely with HR and business leaders to understand their data needs gather requirements analyse data and provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making Identify inefficiencies in HR processes and recommend data-driven solutions to improve HR operations Partner with HCM functional groups Diversity Equity Inclusion Wellness Benefits Employee Relations Global Mobility Compensation Learning Recruiting on seamless HCM service to clients and dedicated local initiatives programmes Skills we are looking for Strong written and oral communication in English excellent presentation skills Degree in Computer Science Mathematics Statistics or a comparable discipline is preferred with prior experience in data analysis or a related field being a plus Knowledge of analytics tools Power BI or Anaplan is required combination of the two highly preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced globally connected organization Highly organized with strong attention to detail Self-motivated and able to work in an autonomous yet collaborative environment Able to manage confidential information Knowledge of Alteryx Tableau R or Python is a plus Interests in HR metrics workforce analytics and data visualization
