About the role: As a Merchandiser Specialist at WIRmachenDRUCK, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our global e-commerce product catalog. You’ll ensure product listings are accurate, visually engaging, and aligned with marketing initiatives to deliver a seamless shopping experience. Working closely with cross-functional teams across Marketing, product, and e-commerce, you’ll combine data-driven insights with creative thinking to enhance product discoverability, catalog efficiency, and overall customer engagement in our international online shop. What you’ll do We’re seeking a Merchandiser Specialist to help manage and grow our global e-commerce catalog. You’ll combine analytical precision with creative problem-solving—ensuring every product is well-represented, discoverable, and optimized for performance. In this role, you will report to our team lead in India and collaborate closely with Marketing, product, and e-commerce teams to maintain a high-quality product catalog, align content with campaigns, and deliver a seamless shopping experience for customers. More specifically, you will: - Manage and maintain product listings within our PIM system and e-commerce platform (creation, updates, and maintenance). - Ensure accuracy and completeness of product data, descriptions, attributes, and pricing. - Merchandise and optimize product presentation, including visuals, layouts, and SEO-friendly content. - Test new product setups to ensure correct display and functionality in the shop front end. - Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align product content with promotional campaigns and launches. - Support daily e-commerce operations and identify process improvements for catalog efficiency and customer engagement. - Contribute creative ideas to enhance the online product discovery and browsing experience. Even if you don’t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply. - 3-4 years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, product content management, or digital marketing. - Experience with PIM systems and e-commerce platforms (Magento or similar preferred). - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is a strong advantage. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset. - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote, international environment. - Enthusiasm for print-on-demand, promotional products, or the printing industry. Nice to have: - Relevant degree in business, marketing, design, or a related field. - Experience in multi-market or multilingual e-commerce environments. - Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, or product performance tracking tools. - Prior experience working with globally distributed or cross-functional teams. - Basic understanding of editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva), CMS platforms, coding fundamentals, Figma, and UX/UI principles. - Demonstrated ability to improve catalog workflows or contribute to product launches. - Written and verbal communication skills in German.
