Job Description

Position Title: Manager - Finance

Location: Head Office, Chennai

Job Description

Management Accounting and Reporting:

- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and present monthly financial reports, including profitability analyses, performance reviews, and operational efficiency metrics
- Perform cost analysis to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

Financial Payment Audit

- Review and verify financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Audit payments, including vendor invoices to confirm accuracy and legitimacy.
- Ensure proper documentation and approval for all payments and transactions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely resolution of audit issues.

Fixed Assets Management

- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date fixed assets register, ensuring accuracy and completeness, Oversee the acquisition, tagging, Deletions and Reconciliation of physical verification of fixed assets with the fixed assets register.

Compliance And Process Improvement

- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and organizational policies.
- Identify inefficiencies in current financial and asset management processes and recommend improvements.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for payment auditing and fixed asset management.
- Product wise Costing Implementation.

Preferred profiles: CA/CMA with at least 2- 6 years of Post qualification experience in Management Reporting, financial auditing, fixed asset management, or a similar role.

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems .
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial auditing standards.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
