Verona was founded by two serial entrepreneurs Mr. Poshak Agrawal and Mr. Rahul Subramaniam, and backed by some of the biggest names in global technology, such as Mr. Michael Novogratz (ex-Fortress Investment Group, CEO of Galaxy Group Investments) & Mr. Rishi Jaitly (ex-Twitter CEO for Asia, Middle East, and Africa). Security and Science make the basis of Verona where before matchmaking there will be Fintech- grade authentication to ensure fraud detection. Through a deep appreciation for the science of compatibility, with Verona, we will be using AI for matchmaking based on an individual's core & shared values. The 3 S’s of Verona - Standards, Security, and Science Role Overview: The Business Development Intern will support client outreach, relationship building, and market research efforts to help grow the organization’s client base. Key responsibilities include engaging potential clients through calls, qualifying leads, gathering client feedback, and assisting in content creation for marketing initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in client engagement and business strategy within a supportive, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: - Client Outreach - Call and engage potential clients to introduce services and assess interest - Follow up and qualify leads based on readiness and needs - Market Research - Research target audiences and industry trends - Conduct competitor analysis and collect client insights - Relationship Building - Support client relationships through regular check-ins - Collect client feedback and assist with onboarding - Content and Communication - Develop call scripts and outreach materials - Assist in creating content for campaigns and presentations - Support strategic initiatives and data management This role offers direct experience in client engagement and business development strategies Education and Skills: - Completed a degree in Business, Management, or a related field - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) What We Offer: - Mentorship and guidance from industry experts - Hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment - Opportunities for professional development and networking - Paid opportunity: Stipend offered for the internship - Duration: 2 months (extendable based on performance) - PPO Track: High performers will have the potential for an assessment for Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) - Work directly with top management: Collaborate closely with IIT Roorkie, IIT KGP, IIM Ahmedabad, MDI Gurgaon, and Ivy League graduates Location/Work Environment: The Vatika Triangle; Gurgaon, India.
