Sr Pxt Site Lifecycle Partner, Site Lifecycle

DESCRIPTION At Amazon we re working to be the most customer-centric company on earth To get there we need exceptionally talented bright innovative and driven leaders If you would like to help us build the place to find and buy anything on-line this is your chance to make history and be involved in growing our business by leading and supporting new building expansion and other site lifecycle stages Key to this mission is strategic large-scale project management initiatives that will allow us to scale our organization for the future We are looking for a senior partner who is able to partner across functions and businesses to enable new site launches and other site lifecycle stages from an PXT HR point of view This role requires both strategic and hands-on leadership developing implementing and executing standard PXT Site Lifecycle resources processes and tools as well as anticipating risks and managing complex issues towards resolution with the country and global PXT leadership team Key job responsibilities Supporting all site lifecycle stages - e g site launches retrofits refurbishments and relocations Ensures standards for people impacting spaces are met in all site lifecycle stages Challenges and escalates on any variance to agreed standards for people impacting spaces Anticipates and escalates resolves people impacting risks for site lifecycle stages and influences mitigation strategies Anticipates and escalates resolves critical role hiring risks at launching refurbishing or retrofitting site and ensures internal guidelines are adhered to Accountable for the timely and accurate set-up of people systems such as Time and Attendance processes such as the Employee engagement processes and Day 1 Launch celebration once needed Responsible for the coordination set-up of PXT capabilities programs for field PXT teams in overseen sites Responsible for the creation and implementation of communications plan for all site lifecycle stages in overseen sites Runs cross-business lines and cross-country projects focused on improving Associate Experience at all site lifecycle stages Facilitates project communication to stakeholders and leads project status meetings Builds cross-functional partnerships - works closely with Regional PXT Operations leaders site leadership teams and other departments such as Recruiting WFS PR and Legal to achieve objectives connected to all site lifecycle stages Responsible for the set-up of People Governance structure for all site lifecycle stages in overseen sites BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of a Bachelor s degree or equivalent degree Proven cross-functional and international project management experience handling complex change initiatives Good understanding of relevant employment legislation that projects may impact Fluency in both verbal and written English The ability to travel 50 of working time is required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Generalist PXT HR exposure in a fast-paced operational environment is desired Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process including support for the interview or onboarding process please visit for more information If the country region you re applying in isn t listed please contact your Recruiting Partner
