insightful and actionable investment advice About The RoleThe successful candidate will join Citi Research Global Research Center GRC as Analyst VP in Mumbai The GRC in Mumbai is a full research office working with Equities Research Fixed Income Research Commodities Research Rates Research Economics Research and Equity Quant Research It also handles various critical functions such as Research Distribution Reporting Modeling and Risk Management The Analyst VP will work closely with a London based team covering European Internet Leisure The Analyst VPs main responsibility will be to support the team with coverage of existing companies and help with initiation of companies planned in the future The candidate will be expected initially to help support the team s research by taking ownership of company and industry models help maintain industry databases The team also works on in-depth industry thematic work and the Analyst would be expected to increase understanding of industry trends and contribute to the team s thematic as well as company-specific content In this role youre expected to The Vice President-level Analyst will have primary responsibility of a group of stocks on the Internet Leisure sector Responsibilities include building financial models writing research reports conducting macroeconomic analysis on the global Internet Leisure industry communicating our team s ideas to institutional investors conducting due diligence and working with Citi s product team to identify trends in the space Self-starter used to working in a team environment and who has the ambition to progress his her career within equity researchConduct analysis Make Investment RecommendationsInteract with Institutional ClientsArrange company visits and regular management contact for investing clients and due diligence purposes Attend industry conferences and speak to industry contacts Track company events and earnings Develop financial models and valuation techniques Establish yourself as an expert Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made demonstrating particular consideration for the firm s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws rules and regulations adhering to Policy applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior conduct and business practices and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency As a successful candidate youd ideally have the following skills and exposure 10-12 years of equity research experience Equity research experience in Internet Leisure is preferredStrong financial modeling skills including full company modelling experienceAdvanced Excel skills experienced in Word PowerPoint Market ideas to internal constituents and clients via phone calls and client marketing tripsHelp facilitate direct corporate access for investorsProvide independent regulatory controlled Secure and maintain applicable licenses Education
