We are looking for an experienced API Integration Specialist to design, build, and maintain robust API-based integrations across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and experience integrating applications in regulated environments such as life sciences or healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable API integrations between systems (e.g., LIMS, SAP, Veeva Vault, UAM, MES).
- Develop and maintain interface specifications, API documentation, and error-handling workflows.
- Work with integration tools/middleware like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, or Apigee.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand integration needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure API solutions align with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity standards.
- Perform troubleshooting, testing, and validation of integrations across environments.
- Support performance optimization, monitoring, and versioning of APIs.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4–10 years of experience in API development and integration, preferably in regulated domains.
- Proficiency with:
- RESTful/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML
- Middleware/integration platforms (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, etc.)
- API management tools and security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)
- Strong understanding of data mapping, interface orchestration, and exception handling.
- Familiarity with pharma systems (e.g., LIMS, eBMR, Veeva, SAP) is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of GxP, CSV, and compliance frameworks.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Middleware/API certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer) are an advantage.
