Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled PLM Integration Engineer to design, develop, and implement the integration of Vericut with Teamcenter. The role involves building seamless data management capabilities within Teamcenter for Vericut-related files, ensuring robust revision control, and enabling smooth interaction between Teamcenter, NX CAM, and Vericut environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integration between Vericut and Teamcenter PLM (Teamcenter X, 2506, 2412, 2406, etc.).
  • Configure and customize Teamcenter modules, ensuring support for Vericut workflows and revision control.
  • Build APIs/connectors using C++, Teamcenter ITK, BMIDE, and SOA services.
  • Enable Single Sign-On (SSO) and conventional login methods for Teamcenter-Vericut connectivity.
  • Develop UI components in Teamcenter for search, file check-in/check-out, and project data management.
  • Support Vericut simulations by managing related files in Teamcenter (e.g., .vcproject, .ctl, .mch, .stp, .mcd, .spf, .vctemplate).
  • Collaborate with Siemens/CGTech teams and internal stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, optimize performance, and ensure smooth user adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise in Teamcenter PLM (configuration, customization, integration).
  • Hands-on experience with Vericut (CNC simulation, verification, machine simulation).
  • Proficiency in C++ development (Vericut base language).
  • Experience with NX CAM and integration with PLM systems.
  • Knowledge of APIs, Teamcenter ITK, BMIDE, SOA/Web services.
  • Familiarity with SSO implementation and secure authentication methods.
  • Strong understanding of revision control, PLM workflows, and data management.
  • Manufacturing domain knowledge – CNC machining, NC programs, tooling, fixtures, and simulation files.

Nice-to-Have

  • Prior experience integrating third-party engineering applications with Teamcenter.
  • Exposure to Vericut modules (VDAF, VCP, VCS, VO).
  • Experience in UI/UX development within PLM tools.
