Software Engineering Lead Analyst - DevOps Position Summary Evernorth a leading Health Services company is seeking a skilled Cloud and DevOps Engineer to join our Data Analytics organization In this role you will be part of the team implementing AtScale as a platform for the semantic layer You will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI CD pipelines You will leverage tools practices and methodologies to ensure the efficient reliable and scalable delivery of software infrastructure Responsibilities Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure Utilize AWS services to design and implement robust cloud infrastructure Infrastructure as Code IaC Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments CI CD Tools and Source Control Work with CI CD tools and source control systems such as Ansible Jenkins and GitHub to streamline development and deployment processes Containerization and Orchestration Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions including Docker and Kubernetes to enhance application scalability and reliability Optimize Cloud Resources Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management while ensuring system reliability scalability and security Agile Framework Operate within an Agile framework participating in Scrum Kanban ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups Sprint Planning Sprint Reviews PI Planning and Retrospectives Collaboration Collaborate with team members to streamline deployment processes and improve overall efficiency Qualifications Required Experience Skills 5 to 8 years of overall Engineering experience Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools particularly Terraform Hands-on programming experience using relevant languages like Python Bash Experience with CI CD tools especially GitHub Jenkins Ansible 3-5 years of experience with AWS services e g EKS RDS SQS SNS Lambda EC2 API Gateway CloudFront Experience with monitoring and logging tools e g Splunk Grafana Dynatrace Strong knowledge of containerization technologies Docker and orchestration platforms Kubernetes Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices Preferred Experience Skills AWS certifications e g DevOps Engineer Solutions Architect Experience with monitoring and logging tools e g Splunk Grafana ELK stack Knowledge of database administration and optimization Familiarity with AI ML deployment workflows Experience with databases like postgress Location Hours of Work Full-time position working 40 hours per week Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad India in a hybrid working model 3 days WFO and 2 days WAH Equal Opportunity Statement Evernorth is an Equal Opportunity Employer actively encouraging and supporting organization-wide involvement of staff in diversity equity and inclusion efforts to educate inform and advance both internal practices and external work with diverse client populations About Evernorth Health Services Evernorth Health Services a division of The Cigna Group creates pharmacy care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality We relentlessly innovate to make the prediction prevention and treatment of illness and disease more accessible to millions of people Join us in driving growth and improving lives
