Manager - Plant HR

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Plant Head to lead and manage the entire operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in foundry / casting operations, production planning, process optimization, manpower handling, and plant administration, ensuring high levels of productivity, quality, and safety. - Oversee end-to-end plant operations, ensuring daily production targets are met. - Lead and manage cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics. - Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and cost efficiency. - Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, TPM, 5S). - Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. - Optimize manpower utilization and foster a culture of high performance and accountability. - Coordinate with senior management for budget planning, capex, and resource allocation. - Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular operational reports. Key Skills & Competencies: - Strong leadership and team management skills. - In-depth knowledge of foundry processes and technologies. - Expertise in production planning, process improvement, and quality management. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing tools. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Qualification: - B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Production Engineering (or equivalent). - MBA / PGDBM (preferred but not mandatory).
