A Civil Engineer for the solar energy industry is responsible for the civil and structural aspects of solar projects including site assessment design and construction oversight of foundations grading drainage and access roads Key duties involve creating technical drawings collaborating with electrical engineers ensuring compliance with regulations and managing construction activities to ensure quality safety and timely completion Core responsibilities Site Assessment and Planning Conduct site assessments topographical surveys and soil testing to prepare for construction Design and Engineering Design site infrastructure including grading drainage access roads and foundations for solar panels inverters and transformers Structural Design Design the foundations and structures that support the solar panels and related equipment ensuring structural integrity and load-bearing capacity Technical Documentation Prepare detailed technical drawings specifications and reports for planning permitting and construction purposes Construction Oversight Supervise and monitor civil construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to design specifications quality standards and safety protocols Coordination Collaborate with project managers electrical engineers and contractors to ensure seamless integration of civil and electrical components Compliance Ensure all designs and construction activities comply with local building codes environmental regulations and safety standards Required qualifications and skills Education Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Experience Experience in civil works is necessary with a focus on solar projects structural design and construction being highly desirable Software proficiency Expertise in design and analysis software like AutoCAD Civil 3D and STAAD is often required Technical knowledge Strong understanding of structural design geotechnical principles drainage systems and construction methodologies Soft skills Excellent communication problem-solving and project management skills are essential for coordinating with various stakeholders JOB APPLY http jobs vinayakjob com CONTACT DETAILS - Name - SHASHI Number - 91 93026 42415
