JD - We are seeking a seasoned Assistant Manager Manager with a strong background in account and client management within the logistics industry - The ideal candidate will have 5-12 years of experience specifically in freight forwarding field sales and direct sales - This role requires an individual who is adept at managing client relationships driving sales and ensuring seamless operations Key Responsibilities Account Client Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty - Act as the primary point of contact for clients addressing their needs resolving issues and ensuring smooth execution of logistics services Freight Forwarding - Oversee and manage all aspects of freight forwarding including coordination with shipping lines customs clearance and delivery of goods - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and optimize processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency Sales Business Development - Drive field sales and direct sales efforts to acquire new clients and expand the company s market share in the logistics sector - Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth MIS Reporting - Prepare and present regular MIS reports to senior management providing insights into sales performance client satisfaction and operational efficiency - Analyze data to identify trends challenges and opportunities for improvement Team Collaboration - Work closely with internal teams including operations finance and customer service to ensure alignment and effective service delivery - Provide guidance and support to junior team members fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment Skills Qualifications Experience 5-12 years of experience in account management client management and sales within the logistics industry with a strong focus on freight forwarding Technical Skills - Proficiency in MIS reporting and data analysis tools - Solid understanding of logistics operations including customs regulations and freight forwarding processes - Sales Acumen Proven track record in field sales and direct sales with the ability to drive business growth and achieve sales targets - Communication Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships - Organizational Skills Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously ref updazz com
