QC - Roles Responsibilities in Mahindra Workshop 1 Vehicle Quality Inspection Inspect all vehicles after repair service body mechanical electrical etc before final delivery to the customer Ensure all job cards are completed as per Mahindra standard operating procedures SOPs Verify that all complaints listed in the job card have been addressed properly Check road test results vehicle cleanliness and overall finishing quality 2 Process Standard Compliance Ensure workshop operations follow Mahindra s Quality Process Guidelines like QMS TPM M-STAT or TSI Confirm adherence to Torque Specifications Repair Manuals and Diagnostic Procedures Ensure all tools and equipment used are calibrated and in proper condition 3 Customer Concern Resolution Validate that customer complaints are fully resolved before delivery Conduct a final satisfaction check from the customer s perspective Identify any repeat issues or comeback jobs and take corrective measures 4 Coordination Communication Coordinate with Service Advisors - for clarification on job card concerns Technicians - for rework or improvement areas Bodyshop Paintshop - for finish and alignment quality Communicate non-conformities or poor workmanship to the Workshop Manager or Service Head 5 Documentation Reporting Maintain QC inspection records for all vehicles Record Defect Reports Rework Jobs and Audit Findings Track Repeat Repair and Customer Complaint Trends Submit daily weekly QC reports to the Workshop Manager 6 Quality Improvement Initiatives Participate in PDI Pre-Delivery Inspection Post Service Quality Audits and CSI Improvement Programs Conduct training sessions or toolbox talks for technicians on common quality issues Work on root cause analysis RCA and implement corrective and preventive actions CAPA 7 Safety Housekeeping Ensure vehicles are inspected in a safe environment Follow all 5S and safety standards in the workshop Check that vehicles are properly cleaned and sanitized before delivery 8 Customer Experience Support the delivery team in ensuring zero defect delivery Help in achieving high Customer Satisfaction Index CSI and Net Promoter Score NPS Handle customer rechecks or post-delivery issues if any quality gap is found 9 Performance Indicators KPIs of vehicles cleared without rework Repeat job ratio Quality audit score CSI NPS related to service quality Warranty rejection rate Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 9 603 91 - 17 125 09 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Paid sick time Provident Fund Application Question s 1 What are the key responsibilities of a Quality Controller in an automobile workshop 2 How do you ensure that all customer complaints mentioned in the job card are properly resolved before delivery 3 What parameters do you check during a final road test before vehicle delivery 4 How do you handle a situation where you find poor workmanship or an incomplete job during inspection 5 What steps do you follow to prevent repeat repairs or comeback jobs 6 Can you explain the importance of following Mahindra s SOPs and torque specifications 7 How do you maintain and report QC inspection records and rework reports Work Location In person
