About CleanHarborsClean Harbors Inc is a NYSE listed US based 4 3 billion company Clean Harbors was founded in 1980 near Boston by Mr Alan S McKim who today remains the company s Chairman and CEO Everywhere industry meets environment Clean Harbors is on-site providing premier environmental energy and industrial services Clean Harbors employs a dedicated workforce of 18 000 employees and has over 450 service locations across the U S Canada and Mexico Beyond addressing the environmental needs of its more than 300 000 customers the Company has been on the front lines of addressing some of the largest emergency response events in North America of the past several decades including the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico the anthrax attacks in New York the 2015 avian flu outbreak that devastated the poultry industry Hurricanes Katrina Rita and Sandy and the oil pipeline breaks that affected the Yellowstone and Kalamazoo rivers along with other major chemical releases into the environment Clean Harbors India has been strategically established as the Global Capability Center GCC to serve our parent company We take pride in serving some of the most tech savvy business stakeholders at Clean Harbors The GCC employees form part of our globally integrated teams that provide cutting-edge IT solutions and production support across platforms Our shared services teams work seamlessly with their global counterparts in providing critical 24x7 support in various functions including Finance HR Procurement IT and Operations Our aggressive growth plans open significant career advancement opportunities for our employees Responsibilities Job Title HR Associate or Sr HR Associate Employee Onboarding - HR Shared ServicesShift Timings 5 00 PM - 02 00 AM IST Willingness to work from office and stretch when business requires Role Brief This is an Onboarding Associate Role primarily to support our US Canada regions Create clear policies and employee handbooks that explain company operations Craft and send emails with information about the company and position including work schedules dress code and parking options Prepare Onboarding Kits Gather and process necessary paperwork Coordinate company presentations and product demos Inform employees of their first day first week tasks Distribute login credentials manuals guidelines as required Ensure new hires have technical assistance to properly set up their hardware and software Assign and assist the New Hires on the mandatory trainings and policies that may need to be completed upon onboarding Address any additional queries that the New Hires may have till they are handed over to the Hiring Managers Monitoring onboarding systems to ensure that hiring managers are completing necessary tasks in a timely manner Achieve high level of business partner satisfaction in the onboarding routines Become an expert of the ins and outs of how our gateway works - don t worry we ll train you on this part Qualifications What will you bring in Fresher with excellent communication and good logical thinking which we can correlate to problem solving ability OR Experienced with Proven 2 - 4 years work experience as an HR Onboarding Associate or HR Associate in a relevant HR role Basic knowledge of US labor legislation Onboarding Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong proficiency in English Flair to connect with people across departments functions can correlate to college projects collaborations Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Self-managed with little supervision Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented Academic Background Any Graduate
