Job Title Safety Officer - Refinery Project Location Assam Refinery Project Site Department Safety HSE Reports To Client Directors Employment Type Full-time Joining Timeline Immediate Within 15 Days Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer with strong expertise in refinery construction expansion projects The candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to health safety and environment HSE standards implementing refinery-specific safety protocols and liaising with client representatives and statutory authorities Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor refinery project safety standards in line with OISD PESO CPWD and statutory guidelines Conduct regular safety audits risk assessments and hazard identification specific to refinery operations Ensure strict compliance with hot work permits confined space entry scaffolding safety and work-at-height protocols Organize and deliver safety training toolbox talks and emergency drills fire explosion chemical handling Prepare and maintain safety records incident accident reports and compliance documentation Coordinate with client HSE teams consultants and subcontractors for safety-related issues Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the workforce Represent the organization in client review meetings and provide professional presentations on safety performance Qualifications Experience Education Diploma Degree in Engineering with Diploma in Industrial Safety mandatory Experience Minimum 7 years in safety management with at least 3 years in refinery or oil gas projects Certifications NEBOSH IOSH OSHA OHSAS ISO 45001 will be an added advantage Skills Required Strong knowledge of refinery-specific safety protocols and industry standards OISD PESO IS NBC Proficiency in computer applications MS Office safety reporting tools presentation preparation Excellent communication and ability to represent safety performance to client and directors In-depth understanding of construction safety process safety and emergency response in refinery projects Ability to train and motivate teams on safety practices Other Requirements Willingness to work at Assam refinery site Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with client and statutory authorities Commitment to maintaining highest safety standards in a high-risk work environment Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Ability to commute relocate Golaghat Assam Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Application Question s Current In-hand salary In-hand salary expectations How soon you can join Reason for leaving job Total years of experience in India building construction What is your permanent location Education Diploma Required Experience Safety Officer 7 years Required Language Hindi Required Willingness to travel 25 Required Work Location In person
