Job Title Safety Supervisor Location Golaghat Assam Position Overview Vishal Builders is seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team The ideal candidate will hold a BSc degree or diploma and have substantial experience in safety management particularly within refineries and power plants The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all safety regulations are adhered to mitigating risks and promoting a safe working environment across our projects Key Responsibilities - Safety Compliance Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards as per industry requirements particularly within refinery and power plant environments - Risk Assessment Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions - Training Development Provide safety training to employees contractors and visitors to ensure awareness of safety procedures and protocols - Incident Reporting Lead investigations into accidents or incidents identify root causes and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence - Safety Documentation Maintain and update safety policies procedures and records in accordance with legal and company requirements - Emergency Preparedness Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure readiness in case of an incident - Safety Audits Perform safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements - Coordination Collaborate with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to integrate safety practices into all aspects of project planning and execution - Regulatory Compliance Stay updated on the latest safety regulations and industry standards ensuring the organization s safety practices are always compliant Qualifications - Education BSc degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science or a related field - Experience Minimum VIII years of experience as a Safety Officer with specific experience in refineries and power plants - Certifications Any relevant certifications like NEBOSH IOSH etc if applicable - Skills Strong knowledge of safety management practices excellent communication skills and the ability to train and influence others - Attention to Detail Ability to identify hazards and recommend solutions to ensure a safe work environment Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Ability to commute relocate Golaghat Assam Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Application Question s How many years of total work experience you have How many years of government project experience you have what is your current in hand salary what is your expected salary in hand what are your 10 best technical skills for this role how soon you can join this company Reason for leaving your current job Education Diploma Required Experience Safety Officer 5 years Required Shift availability Day Shift Required Work Location In person
