Responsibilities of Civil Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor1 Project Planning Site Execution Supervise and monitor site works to ensure quality safety and timely progress Coordinate with architects contractors and consultants for smooth execution Ensure works are carried out as per drawings specifications and standards Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports 2 Quantity Surveying Estimation Prepare BOQs Bill of Quantities and cost estimates for projects Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings Prepare material requirement sheets and assist in procurement planning Evaluate contractor vendor quotations and negotiate rates Keep track of variations and prepare revised estimates when required 3 Cost Control Budget Management Monitor project costs against budget and highlight discrepancies Certify contractor bills and ensure accuracy of work measurements Maintain records of project expenses claims and payments Support management in financial forecasting for ongoing projects 4 Contracts Documentation Assist in drafting tender documents specifications and contracts Review and verify contractual claims by contractors Maintain all site-related documents including drawings estimates and approvals 5 Coordination Communication Liaise with design team for clarifications and modifications Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for timely delivery of materials Communicate effectively with management on project progress costs and issues 6 Quality Compliance Ensure compliance with IS codes building standards and safety regulations Check quality of construction materials and workmanship Resolve technical issues on-site and provide corrective solutions Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 10 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Internet reimbursement Ability to commute relocate Manjeri Kerala Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Education Diploma Required Experience Project coordination 1 year Required Shift availability Day Shift Preferred Work Location In person
