DESCRIPTION Amazon strives to be Earth s most customer-centric company where people can find and discover virtually anything they want to buy online By giving customers more of what they want - low prices vast selection and convenience - Amazon continues to grow and evolve as a world-class e-commerce platform Amazon s evolution from website to e-commerce partner to development platform is driven by the spirit of innovation that is part of the company s DNA The world s brightest technology minds come to Amazon to research and develop technology that improves the lives of shoppers and sellers around the world As an Account Manager and part of the RBS-VSP Retail Business Service - Vendor Success Program team you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy for managing vendors for Amazon Retail RBS-VSP team is looking for a bright customer centric data driven and creative candidate to join our team The successful Account Manager for this role is an effective listener communicator and problem-solver with expertise in process optimizations and systems thinking You will engage directly with Amazon s vendors and multiple internal teams to enable Amazon s vendors growth on Amazon You will utilize a wide range of negotiation skills and work across major functional areas to drive the performance of vendor partners at Amazon In this role you will be focused on growing our business with Amazon vendor partners Also you will look into operational aspects of their business with Amazon root cause analysis of issues and opportunities affecting the vendor s business You will be expected to work on transactional but business critical activities and have a hands-on approach Key job responsibilities Manage vendor relationships negotiate contracts and execute pricing strategies Identify new opportunities across a large number of brands develop and execute project plans Success will be measured by the performance of your task and deliverables on input metrics BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 2 years of sales or account management experience - 2 years of digital advertising and client facing roles experience - Experience with Excel - Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience analyzing key open issues and resolution metrics for each of the managed accounts - Experience in relationship management within technology start-ups or SaaS Platforms Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process including support for the interview or onboarding process please visit for more information If the country region you re applying in isn t listed please contact your Recruiting Partner
