Job Description

- Design and implement efficient, scalable, and securePostgreSQLdatabase schemas and objects (tables, views, functions, procedures).
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for regulatory data processing.
- Collaborate with backend developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into robust database solutions. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across systems.
- Implement indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning strategies for large datasets. Support ETL processes and data pipelines for ingestion and transformation of trade data.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Maintain documentation for database structures, processes, and best practices.
- Overall experience of 8-10 Year with 4+ years of hands-on experience withPostgreSQLdevelopment and administration.
- Strong proficiency inSQL,PL/pgSQL, and performance tuning.
- Experience withdata modeling,normalization, andquery optimization.
- Experience working withlarge datasetsandreal-time data processing.
- Knowledge ofETL tools,data warehousing, ordata lakesis desirable.
- Familiarity withversion control systems(e.g., Git) andCI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
