A. Accounts Management: - Oversee and manage daily accounting operations to ensure efficient financial management - Monitor, analyze, and prepare accurate financial reports and statements for timely decision-making - Establish and enforce best practices in accounting methods, policies, and principles - Coordinate and execute annual audits to ensure compliance and transparency - Continuously improve accounting systems and processes, and initiate corrective actions where necessary - Proactively avoid legal challenges by staying informed of current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations, and recommending process improvements - Assign projects and provide guidance to the accounting team to ensure precision, compliance, and timely execution - Ensure accurate and timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial cycles B. Taxation Management: - Oversee and manage the tax provision and tax compliance processes for various entities - Prepare and manage tax documentation, addressing all information/data requests in a timely manner - In-depth knowledge of Direct Taxes, including Tax Deduction at Source (TDS), filing of Income Tax returns, TDS returns, and withholding tax obligations - Extensive knowledge of Indirect Taxes, particularly Service Tax and GST procedures - Prepare and submit responses to scrutiny assessments, penalty notices, show cause notices, advance tax notices, rectification letters, and manage appeals effectively Remuneration: - Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
