What You'll Do The HR Digital Product Portfolio is the largest and most dynamic portfolio within BCG’s Digital Products Organization. We enable global technology for BCG’s entire HR & People Function—including Recruiting, Staffing, Mobility, L&D, Teaming, Compensation, and Workday. Over the past two years, the HR Digital Product Portfolio has more than doubled in size, and there is more growth to come. With this growth comes exciting new leadership opportunities, including a Product Owner role for a new squad focused on delivering against our Candidate Selection agenda. This leader is passionate about serving customers, inspiring teams, and championing Agile practices. The role will focus on delivering BCG’s digital strategy for candidate selection technologies. You will be responsible for building business cases to support investments in candidate selection tools and platforms. Acting as the voice of the customer, you’ll ensure squad priorities align with user and business needs. A strong understanding of candidate assessment processes and experience with integrated digital tools (e.g., CodeSignal, RARE, HireQuotient, and other pre-hire platforms) will be key to your success. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across the global recruiting function and collaborate with your squad to translate user needs into impactful product solutions. You will manage the backlog of priorities, ensure clarity of execution, and help the team deliver value at every sprint. Key Responsibilities Delivering Business Results and Customer Value · Define and track OKRs aligned to the Digital Product Portfolio · Lead cross-squad initiatives within the Candidate Selection domain · Surface actionable insights from user feedback and data tied to integrated assessment tools · Define and deliver KPIs that measure candidate experience, recruiter efficiency, and tool performance Driving Product Vision and Strategy · Shape and communicate the purpose of your squad’s work within the broader candidate selection strategy · Deliver new capabilities in regular increments, ensuring continuous value to users · Prioritize a strategic backlog aligned with recruiting goals and global hiring needs · Collaborate with business stakeholders to align on vision, sequencing, and success metrics User-Centric Product Management · Translate the voice of the candidate and recruiter into actionable user stories for digital assessment tools · Conduct continuous discovery (e.g., surveys, interviews) to understand user needs · Leverage data to assess tool performance and inform enhancements (e.g., test completion rates, validity scores) · Determine trade-offs between cost, value, and execution speed for features involving assessment tools Squad Empowerment and Agile Delivery · Enable your squad through clear prioritization, goal-setting, and backlog management · Align closely with technical leads, Scrum Leads, and Agile Coaches · Provide real-time feedback on user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint outcomes · Collaborate with other product owners to ensure integration with upstream and downstream recruiting technologies Leading with a Transformation Mindset · Model Agile leadership behaviors and embed new ways of working in your squad · Foster transparency, accountability, and a culture of continuous learning · Help grow BCG’s product culture and serve as a mentor across the product organization What You'll Bring · 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in HR/Recruiting technology · Strong knowledge of candidate assessment processes and tools (e.g., HireQuotient, RARE, CodeSignal) · Proven experience delivering digital solutions in agile environments · Ability to lead across complex stakeholder groups including global recruiting leadership · Experience managing product budgets and strategic roadmaps · Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills · Background in consulting or HR tech product development is a plus Who You'll Work With · Your squad team members as their dedicated Product Owner · Internal customers and users across global and regional recruiting teams · Portfolio leaders to shape and fund long-term candidate selection strategy · Agile Coaches, Scrum Leads, and Technical Area Leaders for delivery excellence · Other product owners to align capabilities across the recruiting technology ecosystem Additional info You’re Good At · Balancing functional and technical perspectives to guide your squad · Applying a consultative approach to build relationships and trust with stakeholders · Advocating for the user and translating needs into clear priorities · Working through ambiguity and influencing cross-functional teams · Making strategic trade-offs using data and customer insight · Identifying opportunities to innovate and improve user experiences Boston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
