About McDonalds in IndiaOne of the worlds largest employers with locations in more than 100 countries McDonalds Corporation has corporate opportunities in Hyderabad Our global offices serve as dynamic innovation and operations hubs designed to expand McDonald s global talent base and in-house expertise Our new office in Hyderabad will bring together knowledge across business technology analytics and AI accelerating our ability to deliver impactful solutions for the business and our customers across the globe Position Summary Manager Data GovernanceAs a Supervisor of Privacy Security and Risk within the Enterprise Data Governance EDG team you will support the development and execution of data protection strategies by helping to implement scalable governance processes privacy frameworks and risk mitigation capabilities Reporting to the Manager of Privacy Security and risk this role serves as a critical liaison between data stewards privacy legal stakeholders and risk and compliance teams to operationalize key data governance and privacy practices You will assist with privacy control assessments data classification efforts and records management workflows while ensuring business teams remain aligned with global data governance and privacy expectations PrimaryResponsibilities Privacy and Risk Operations Support Assist in implementing and maintaining data privacy controls records retention schedules and supporting risk mitigation efforts Policy and Compliance Execution Support operationalizing governance policies privacy frameworks e g NIST Privacy Framework and compliance procedures across domains Stakeholder Enablement Collaborate with privacy legal and technical teams to support records of processing activities ROPA access governance and data classification efforts Key Responsibilities Participate in maintaining the organizations data inventory and support privacy-by-design practices across business initiatives Coordinate with the Governance Risk and Compliance GRC platform team to capture and track EDG-owned risk and mitigation efforts Collaborate with Records Information Management RIM and data stewards to consistently apply record retention and destruction workflows Provide input into privacy control requirement documentation training content and enterprise change adoption initiatives Help prepare documentation for audits and regulatory inquiries by compiling evidence and ensuring traceability To support operational workflows and reporting utilize data governance and privacy tools e g Collibra OneTrust ServiceNow IRM Skill Bachelors degree in information technology Data Science Cybersecurity or a related field 5-8 years of experience in data governance privacy risk management or compliance roles Familiarity with data protection regulations and frameworks such as GDPR NIST CCPA Privacy Framework or ISO 27001 Experience supporting risk assessments access governance or privacy-by-design programs Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with business and technical stakeholders Exposure to data governance platforms Collibra or GRC tools preferred OneTrust ServiceNow Data profiling and data classification Familiarity with data retention Data life cycle management Data Access governance Work location Hyderabad IndiaWork pattern Full time roleWork mode Hybrid
