About this Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Leader to spearhead our enterprise-level data governance initiatives.

This role requires deep expertise in data governance, including strategy development, framework implementation, and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, and enabling data stewardship across the organization.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data governance strategy.
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks, including policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with data stewards, data owners, and business users to define and enforce data governance policies.
  • Implement and monitor data quality rules, lineage, and metadata management.
  • Provide training and support to business and technical users on data governance best practices.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external data governance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with data governance platforms, including configuration, workflow development, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and data lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in data governance APIs, BPMN, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with data cataloging, lineage, and business glossary.
  • Familiarity with data platforms like Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
