Collibra Data Governance Specialist

A seasoned data governance expert is required to spearhead enterprise-level data governance initiatives utilizing Collibra.

Job Description:
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and administration of the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, ensuring seamless data flow and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Design and configure the Collibra Operating Model, encompassing domains, assets, workflows, and roles to optimize data management processes.
  • Develop and maintain custom workflows using BPMN and Collibra Workflow Designer to streamline business operations and enhance data quality.
  • Integrate Collibra with various enterprise systems (e.g., Snowflake, Informatica, Tableau, Azure, SAP) through APIs and connectors to ensure interoperability and data consistency.
  • Collaborate with data stewards, data owners, and business users to define and enforce data governance policies, promoting a culture of data stewardship and accountability.
  • Implement and monitor data quality rules, lineage, and metadata management to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide training and support to business and technical users on Collibra usage and best practices, fostering a community of data governance professionals.
  • Act as a Collibra Subject Matter Expert and evangelist within the organization, promoting data governance maturity and driving innovation through data-driven decision-making.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external data governance standards, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality, with a strong track record of success in data-driven initiatives.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Collibra, including configuration, workflow development, and integration, with a deep understanding of its features and capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and data lifecycle management, with the ability to design and implement effective data governance strategies.
  • Proficiency in Collibra APIs, BPMN, and scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript), with the ability to develop custom workflows and integrations.
  • Experience with data cataloging, lineage, and business glossary in Collibra, with a strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with data platforms like Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica, or similar, with the ability to integrate Collibra with various systems and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive business outcomes through data-driven insights.
  • Collibra Ranger or Solution Architect certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
