INTERESTED CANDIDATES MAY MAIL THEIR CV AT hr2 peb360 com OR CALL ON 8956060951 The Junior Erection Engineer for Steel Building Construction will oversee and manage on-site engineering tasks related to the construction of steel structures This role requires extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles construction techniques and project management The Junior Erection Engineer ensures the successful execution of projects by coordinating with design teams supervising site activities and ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications Key Responsibilities 1 Project Planning and Management Develop detailed project plans and schedules for steel building construction activities Coordinate with project managers architects and design engineers to review construction drawings and specifications Prepare and manage project documentation including method statements risk assessments and technical reports 2 Site Supervision Oversee daily site operations including steel erection welding and bolting activities Ensure compliance with construction plans safety regulations and quality standards Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and identify any issues 3 Technical Guidance Provide technical guidance and support to site engineers supervisors and construction teams Resolve engineering issues and challenges that arise during construction Review and approve technical submittals shop drawings and material specifications 4 Quality Control Implement quality control procedures to ensure the structural integrity of steel constructions Conduct material testing and inspections to verify compliance with project specifications Manage the documentation of test results and quality control records 5 Safety Management Promote a strong safety culture on the construction site Ensure all site activities comply with occupational health and safety regulations Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for site personnel 6 Resource Management Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment Manage site resources including labor machinery and materials to optimize productivity Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget 7 Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with clients contractors and consultants to address project requirements and expectations Attend project meetings and provide updates on site progress and issues Facilitate effective communication between on-site teams and the project office 8 Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of site activities progress reports and project documentation Prepare and submit regular reports on project status including financial performance schedule adherence and risk management 9 Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in steel building construction Stay updated with industry trends new technologies and construction methodologies Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Work Location In person
