Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President Corporate Training to lead and expand our EdTech-driven corporate training vertical. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of corporate training solutions, EdTech platforms, and the ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with top-tier clients. The VP will play a key role in aligning the organization's training solutions with the evolving needs of the corporate world, while driving business growth and team excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a growth strategy for the corporate training vertical, leveraging the latest EdTech tools and platforms.
Drive innovation in training delivery, incorporating digital learning technologies and personalized learning experiences.
Set short- and long-term business objectives, ensuring alignment with the overall company vision.
Business Development & Client Management:
Build and maintain strategic relationships with HR leaders, L&D heads, and CXOs across industries.
Identify and close large-scale opportunities by presenting value-driven EdTech-based training solutions.
Oversee client onboarding, ensuring smooth implementation and ongoing satisfaction with EdTech solutions.
Product Customization & Innovation:
Work closely with product development and technology teams to customize training solutions using the EdTech platform.
Stay abreast of trends in digital learning, gamification, AI-driven analytics, and upskilling technologies to enhance offerings.
Revenue & Performance Management:
Drive revenue growth, ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales and performance targets.
Develop pricing strategies and proposals for corporate clients that reflect value while maintaining profitability.
Track KPIs and prepare detailed performance reports for senior management.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
Provide training and resources to the team to ensure their success in selling EdTech-based training solutions.
Market Intelligence:
Conduct market analysis to identify new trends in EdTech and corporate training.
Use insights to position the company as a leader in delivering cutting-edge learning solutions to corporates.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, HR, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in Corporate Training, EdTech, or L&D Sales.
At least 3 years in a leadership role within an EdTech or training organization.
Strong knowledge of digital learning platforms, LMS, and emerging technologies in EdTech.
Proven ability to close high-value deals and manage large-scale corporate accounts.
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools, data analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to driving results.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in EdTech corporate sales, preferably with Fortune 500 clients.
Strong network within HR, L&D, and corporate decision-making communities.
Knowledge of AI-powered learning analytics and personalized training tools.
Familiarity with online certifications, blended learning models, and content development.
